The temporary residence permit is considered valid until the temporary residence is renewed.

A temporary stay may be extended as early as three months prior to its expiration and as late as the day it ends. The condition is that the purpose for which you were granted temporary residence remains in effect.

Your residence is considered legal in the territory of Slovakia until the decision on its renewal.
